Description
Still inside the biological protection area of Portoferraio we can go down directly behind the rock of Scoglietto, in fact on the North side of the island extends underwater with a landslide of rocks that ends up on the sand at 17 meters depth. It is therefore a very simple dive, but no less spectacular than the other. The presence of fish is always abundant, especially numerous croakers swim with the resident groupers. The water is usually clear and shallow ensures excellent lighting and allows us to explore easily to meet scorpion fish, moray eels and small fish as much maidens, sea bass, sea bream and salps, but looking towards the open sea is not difficult to see snappers and barracudas drive a short distance. Perfect diving for inexperienced divers or students, we say that looks very much like a tropical reef!
